Amazon Steps Up Diversity with Newest Indie Urban Drama Series

ATLANTA - Oct. 14, 2016 - PRLog -- 2-G Digital Media, Inc. headed up by Greg Galloway has just released the first Urban Drama/Crime Series available on Amazon Prime and Amazon Instant Video. The series is about Chastity Michaels (played by Sy Sayonara), an accomplished video producer who has to overcome her environment and upbringing to become one the best music video producers in Atlanta. The film is directed by Galloway and showcases talented actors and music artists in Atlanta.

The series has received 4.7 out of 5 stars on Amazon and is one of the most popular independently produced series on Amazon. Reviews on Amazon call the series "Excellent", "New Must Watch", and "Awesome Show". Music & Murder has a fast growing following on social media and broad fan base.

Galloway, his twin sister, Desiree Galloway and long time friends, Ray Hoke, Steve Turner, Larinzo Dennis Sy Sayonara, financed the Series. "We created this series to not only showcase Atlanta talent, but to prove to our peers and to our viewers that indie producers can compete with the majors and make a good product" says Galloway. The team shot two episodes and released them through Amazon's latest venture Amazon Video Direct. The production team plans to shoot more episodes in Late November with added cameos from local Atlanta celebs.

The team chose Amazon's newly launched Video Direct service after shopping their show to various outlets who either didn't think there was an audience for the show or wanted full creative control over the show. Amazon now offers a direct to consumer option for getting content on their Prime service and they have chosen to take advantage of it. The show can be see on Amazon in Japan, United Kingdom and Germany.
