Mauna Loa Macadamia Nuts with Hawaiian Host

COCONUT CREEK, Fla. - Oct. 13, 2016 - PRLog -- The Operation Build team welcomes Hawaiian Host to the show to inspire viewers about holiday entertaining with nuts. As the holiday season rolls out, Andi Tilis is joined by Hawaiian Host to craft savory treats using macadamia nuts.

Hawaiian Host acquired Mauna Loa Macadamia Nut Corporation in 2015. Over 30 years ago, Mauna Loa started perfecting Hawaii's most sought after nut. Since then, Mauna Loa has created a delightful variety of macadamia nut treats. Now with over a dozen flavors to choose from, Mauna Loa leads the way in providing one of the world's tastiest macadamia nut selections.

The company takes its name from the volcano Mauna Loa. Their headquarters and main processing plant are located in the Puna District on the island of Hawaii. They have been slowly working to become carbon neutral by reducing their dependence on conventionally generated electricity, particularly those involving coal and crude oil. At the main production facility, the company owns its own steam generator, which uses plant waste to generate electricity used in the harvesting and packaging of its macadamia seeds.
