Shermco's Kerry Heid to Present at CEPA Quality Summit

CALGARY, Alberta - Oct. 13, 2016 - PRLog -- Kerry Heid, President of Shermco Canada, will present "I OWN Quality by Dedicating Time to Standards Development" during a panel discussion at the Canadian Energy Pipeline Association's 2016 Industry Quality Summit, to be held at the Westin Hotel in Calgary, Alberta on October 19, 2016.

This purpose of this day long summit, the third and final in the CEPA Foundation Quality Program's Strategic Plan for Quality Excellence is focused on quality accountability and the many ways that commitment can be demonstrated.  Heid's presentation will review how he has demonstrated personal accountability for quality by volunteering to lead and support working industry groups to develop maintenance and safety standards and best practices for electrical equipment and power systems.igned for executives, leaders and subject matter experts who are and will continue to take accountability for quality performance in the energy pipeline industry.

Kerry is a past president of NETA (International Electrical Testing Association) and served on their board of directors for over 10 years and won their outstanding achievement award in 2010. He is also the technical committee Chair of CSA Z463 on "Maintenance of electrical Systems" and has been on the technical committee for CSA Z462 "Workplace Electrical Safety" since its inception in 2006.
