ALHAMBRA, Calif. - Oct. 13, 2016 - PRLog -- Throughout the author's 50+ years of pastoral experience, questions have been asked and theories challenged about Christianity. Dr. Foster H. Shannon's insightful answers to these often asked questions are now shared in his latest book, Answering Questions People Ask About Chrisitanity.

The thirteen chapters focus on the worthiness and reliability of the Bible, the future of Christianity and how to live a Christian lifestyle in today's secular world. Dr. Shannon disputes much of the conventional wisdom with the chapters: Why Do Many Intelligent People Reject Christianity? Why is Darwinism a Problem for Many Christians, and How Do We Recognize and Avoid Bad Ideas?

"Many people seem to forget or not know that Christianity has been a glue or a healing force for the United States, as we see moral decline, a high divorce rate, confusion regarding right and wrong, and much hopelessness. I wrote this book to include a timely explanation of Christianity to the society in which we live and to help people recognize we need a new direction," states the author.

Whether believer or non-believer, this book will reaffirm, raise eyebrows, and make one think about the role of God in their lives.
