GAP MILLS, W.Va. - Oct. 13, 2016 - PRLog -- Cindie Harper loves exploring the unknown but she is also passionate about historic preservation. Cindie has visited many historical locations around the world. Many of these locations are known for their paranormal activity but what Cindie finds to be most interesting is the history behind many of them.

Cindie came across Sweet Springs Resort in Gap Mills, West Virginia several years ago while she was visiting some of the nearby historical sites. The history and beauty of the location completely intrigued her. When she found out that Ashby Berkley purchased the beautiful property with the intent to preserve it, she vowed to help in any way that she could.

Cindie streamed live from Sweet Springs Resort last month via YouTube in an attempt to increase awareness and grassroots appreciation for this beautiful historic property. West Virginians have inherited buildings and archaeological sites that are rich in history. Many, like "Old Sweet," reflect the fascinating history of the state and deserve to be preserved. Historic locations like Sweet Springs Resort also have the potential to bring many economic and social benefits for not only native West Virginians, but to anyone who has the pleasure of visiting them.  During the broadcast, Cindie stated that she believes that there are critical threats to Sweet Springs Resort and many other historic places. She is calling all history lovers and historic preservation enthusiasts to unite in an attempt to preserve Sweet Springs Resort and ensure that a rich legacy is preserved for the future.

Cindie also urged viewers to volunteer or donate to the Sweet Springs Resort Park Foundation. If you are not interested in direct, hands on preservation work, The Sweet Springs Resort Park Foundation accepts donations to support their work.
