Roundly Ignored Historical Wtcsunsets Photos Reappear

LAS VEGAS - Oct. 12, 2016 - PRLog -- Bradley Jay Meyer's stunning late-20^th-Century

WTCsunsets photographs were captured over the span of 4,000 evenings from a landmark skyscraper that is now gaining fame as the title and setting of the brilliant new novel "Christodora."  After a turn-of-the-century warehouse fire destroyed many of his photos, the rest were kept private until 11/11/2006 out of respect for the victims of 9/11. Since then, they have been roundly ignored.

Despite their winning awards and being promoted by Meyer, this important portfolio has remained unheralded by the art world and the media for a decade, now. This speaks to the fact that the art market is often absurdly insular. Photographers deemed 'collectable', such as Cindy Sherman, see some of their prints (even mere selfies) sell for more than $3,000,000. Meanwhile, Meyer has reached out to dozens of museums and major galleries, as well as multiple times to a list of more than 50 art advisors, without the photos finding a single sponsor or champion.

Media kits sent out to dozens of magazines, newspapers and TV networks prior to the 10^th and 15^th anniversaries of 9/11 were also disregarded. Despite their having a great backstory, the press has preferred to run countless stories and segments focused on survivors' lingering grief, even to the point of excluding any coverage of the gorgeous and memorial WTCsunsets.
