As a long standing member and lead sponsor, SES is happy to be part of this prominent military satellite conference and exhibition in London. This is an exciting time for our industry with new technologies and technical innovations becoming more available, from planar antennas to software defined modems and  High Throughput Satellites just to name a few. These technologies are a result of our industry responding to the ever changing requirements of our defence and governmental customers. With many governments reducing spending budgets whilst increasing their requirements for information superiority, a challenging environment has been created for us all. Our aim as an industry is to respond to these challenges to ensure flexibility for the missions of the defence and governmental customers, whilst remaining within these budget constraints. New technologies and new ways of doing business are paving the way for exciting opportunities within the industry.
