Songdoor 2016 International Songwriting Competition Ends November 15

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Oct. 12, 2016 - PRLog -- SongDoor 2016 entries must be submitted online by 11:59pm CST, November 15. All entrants receive a free all-access trial to SongU.com, a free Broadjam film and TV membership and free song-editing software.

"People still can't believe we give away $220 worth of songwriting tools just for entering one song," says SongDoor president Tony Zotta. "Every single person who enters is entitled to a free 45-day all-access pass to SongU.com, a free Broadjam film and TV membership and song-editing sofware for Mac or Windows. There are no strings, and no obligation to join anything. We just want songwriters to get better at what they do and get their music heard. We've been doing this in one fashion or another since 2006."

SongDoor also gives songwriters a place to showcase videos of their original songs, or they can request a tweet out about a local performance or CD release. There is no charge for this publicity.

SongDoor 2016 is presented in association with SongU.com, Colorado Sound Studios, Broadjam, MasterWriter and author Robin Frederick. Entrants are eligible to win the Grand Award, valued at approximately USD $7,950 in music merchandise and services, including an Ibanez acoustic guitar, a full-band private session demo at Colorado Sound Studios - produced and engineered by Emmy-winner Steve Avedis - a one-year full-access membership to SongU.com, MasterWriter songwriting software, a Primo membership to Broadjam and an autographed copy of Robin Frederick's best-selling songwriting book. Six Category Winners each receive a valuable package of awards valued at almost $5,500, including a first-rate guitar/vocal or keyboard/vocal demo produced by Emmy-winner Steve Avedis and memberships to SongU.com and Broadjam.

The SongDoor International Songwriting Competition is an annual event, open to amateur and professional songwriters worldwide. Entries are accepted online from April 15 through November 15.
