Got Gently Used Items? Tucson Radio Stations to Compete in the 'Pack the PODS Container' Drive

TUCSON, Ariz. - Oct. 10, 2016 - PRLog -- To help those in need, 94.9 MIXfm and 106.3 the Groove will once again team up with PODS of Tucson (http://www.pods.com/tucson-storage.aspx) to see which station can generate the most donations in a friendly competition for the second annual  'Pack the PODS Container' donation drive.  Throughout October, the local radio stations will ask residents to donate their gently used clothes and household items to benefit the Salvation Army Rehab Centers of Tucson.

The services that PODS of Tucson is providing will help save the rehab centers thousands of dollars in moving and storage logistics costs.  The centers offer residential housing, work, and group and individual therapy, all in a clean, wholesome environment. The care the rehab residents receive prepares them to re-enter society and return to gainful employment.

"We are proud to provide our storage services to the Salvation Army for the second year in a row," said Mike Smith, Vice President of Operations for PODS Tucson. "This drive is a really fun way to collect donations while involving the community in a friendly competition."

The public is encouraged to drop off gently used clothing and household items into the safe and secure PODScontainers during the following dates and locations:
