Interface Force launches new 6 axis load cells with live demonstration at Advanced Engineering 2016

Sensor demonstrations will be Interface Force Measurements' highlights on Stand L80 at Advanced Engineering

CROWTHORNE, U.K. - Oct. 10, 2016 - PRLog -- Live sensor demonstrations are order of the day when Interface Force Measurements Ltd exhibit on Stand L80 at this year's Advanced Engineering Show. Alongside its comprehensive range of sensors, the company will be demonstrating its XSensor pressure mapping system and the new Interface 6 axis sensors.

The new Interface 6A series of load cells will be on display for the first time. These 6 axis load cells feature six independent, temperature compensated bridges providing mV/V output to six independent channels. This enables measurement in three perpendicular axes with three simultaneous torque / moment measurements about those axes. The company will have a live demonstration to bring to life the versatility and applications for these exciting new sensors.

Visitors to the stand will also be able to experience first hand how a pressure mapping system works, as Interface Force will have a live demonstration of the XSensor interactive seat pressure mapping system. Pressure mapping involves measuring the output from one or more capacitive pressure sensor mats placed between two surfaces, the pressure output from each sensor is then transferred via bespoke electronics to a sophisticated software package that analyses and displays the pressure distribution over the area of test. In addition to medical applications, pressure sensing is now used in many industrial areas to improve performance, safety, quality and efficiency. It is particularly popular in the luxury automotive and aircraft manufacturing industries where seating comfort is paramount.

In addition to these live demonstrations, Interface Force will be showing its comprehensive range of standard, off the shelf products including load cells and force sensors from AMTI, pressure sensors for harsh and hazardous environments from GP:50 and Interface's own range of force, torque and multi axis sensors. Engineers from the company will also be on hand to discuss individual requirements and how customised products and systems can provide an ideal solution.
