Electronic Music Label CLKWRK Records Releases Global Radiosity by James Coddington

SEATTLE - Oct. 9, 2016 - PRLog -- James Coddington has been DJing and Producing original tracks for over 20 years. He has played festivals, parties and huge events coast to coast. Some of the more notable events include Cascade, Photosynthesis, Decibel Festival, Gemini, and Skylab III. He has shared the decks with Terry Mullen, Amon Tobin, along with the entire Ninja Tunes Crew, and even the legendary DJ Keoki. He says the inspiration for his sound is the pounding of machinery, the ecstasy of flight, the impending doom of our species and the everlasting power of love.

In addition to James's original there are two remixes included in the release. One remix comes from the CLKWRK Records label owner, Travis Safford AKA Depht Lee and is an ultra-minimal approach to the track. His remix is reminiscent of early releases on the M_nus label with a one minute lead-in focusing entirely on the sound of James's synths that sets a deep tone that is followed up throughout the entire remix. Taking the "less is more" approach and focusing on the psychedelic aspects of the track he brings out sounds buried in the mix to the forefront. The third remix comes from Seattle based producer DK and takes a maximal approach to the track layering in synths and other elements that bring a whole new experience to the track.

Global Radiosity is a techno track that could easily find a home on the dance floor of any club, house party or even in your headphones on that long commute back home.

James Coddington's experience shines out clearly in this tune as you listen to all the different elements woven into the track. The "going over our head" sample in particular sticks with you long after you hear the track. The idea behind all of James's production is to inspire thought and this track is a fine example of ideas put into motion.

This release has the sounds that any electronic music fan can relate to, not just fans of the techno genre. CLKWRK Records has made their intentions clear in regards to what they plan to unleash on the world and this track is just the beginning for the recently formed label.
