Sheraton Albuquerque Uptown Hotel To Host 4th Annual SCARE-aton Charity Carnival

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - Oct. 6, 2016 - PRLog -- What:          Sheraton Albuquerque Uptown Hotel will host the 4th Annual SCARE-aton Charity Carnival on Halloween, in partnership with the Arthritis Foundation NM.  Admission to this event is free to the public and will include access to trick or treating, a fun haunted house, a costume contest and several festivities and games. All proceeds will go to benefit NM kids with Juvenile Arthritis and the Arthritis Foundation.

Why:          "The Albuquerque Uptown Community is rapidly expanding, and is quickly becoming the most vibrant part of the city.  Sheraton Albuquerque Uptown welcomes opportunities to partner with our local businesses and organizations while finding ways to give back. The 4th Annual Sheraton Scare-aton, benefitting the Arthritis Foundation, specifically Juvenile Arthritis, does just that!  By donating all proceeds from the event directly to the organization we are able to assist as many kids and families suffering from Arthritis as possible," said Sarah Wilson, Director of Special Events at the hotel.

During the event, children can trick or treat down the hall of our spookily decorated 2^nd floor. Local businesses have sponsored these guest rooms, and will answering their doors to hand out candy.  Additionally, there will be carnival games, a cake walk and other tasty snacks in the ballroom, along with a family friendly haunted house, tons of giveaways plus a very exciting costume contest.  The annual event brings in 800-1,000 people each year.
