CuraLinc Healthcare and Marquee Health Announce New Wellbeing Blog

CHICAGO - Oct. 17, 2016 - PRLog -- CuraLinc Healthcare, a global employee assistance program (EAP) provider, and Marquee Health, a leading provider of total well-being solutions, today announced the launch of a new blog, Wellbeing Place (http://www.wellbeing.place).

This initiative underscores the commitment of both organizations to provide clients with resources that impact employee health and well-being – both from a physical and an emotional perspective. Blog entries, which will be written by CuraLinc's licensed mental health clinicians and Marquee's master's-level health educators, include a variety of helpful tips, videos, recipes, infographics, definitions, and 'how to' guides.

Paula Peacock, LCPC, CEAP, CuraLinc's Vice President of Client Services, believes the blog can be a helpful tool to destigmatize emotional health concerns like stress, relationship issues, and anxiety. "Our plan is for the blog, which will be content-rich and searchable by topic, to provide resources that stop small problems from becoming big problems down the road. We'll try hard to walk the fine line between keeping it fun and keeping it informative."

Kristen Balchan, RD, LDN, Marquee Health's Director of Client Success identified creating a blog as a way for wellbeing clients to easily access information on trending topics. "We wanted to provide a resource with fresh, relevant content to help clients stay motivated towards their health goals. More users are looking for quick bits of information that they can absorb, as well as a trusted resource to rely on, and we knew this was in our wheelhouse."

Wellbeing Place will be connected to employee portals for the CuraLinc EAP, as well as the Marquee wellness program. In addition, the blog can be accessed by visiting www.wellbeing.place.
