New Stand Up Comedy Website Launching November 01

EDMONTON, Alberta - Oct. 8, 2016 - PRLog -- The time is right to feature more comedy in an ever darkening world of seriousness. We all need more laughter in our lives and love in our hearts. A new comedy website will be able to accomplish one of these needs. You decide which one.

As more and more people are fixated on their computers, tablets and phones, it is harder and harder for stand up comedians to reach new audiences without having a strong online presence. It is also harder and harder for the comedy fans to find new comedians which they like as there are millions and millions of people who think they are funny posting videos online. This site takes it back to the real art of stand up comedy instead of Vines and video clips recorded in a bathroom mirror (which should be recorded naked so we have something to really laugh at).

The new WTF Comedy Canada site will be administered and handled from Edmonton, Alberta but will welcome comedians from around the world to have their comedy featured on the site. the time for the next generation of comedians is now and we will bring you comedians who are fresh and exciting. with so many comedians out there fighting for a fan base, you can rest assured that their will be comedians for every comedy fan and every comedy taste.

This site will not charge comedians or fans for bringing them together. Let's face it, comedians are like musicians, broke and will be that ways for many years until they make it or get a real job. The site will also have information for comedians about various topics and career advise in addition to weekly interviews with comedians. Each interview will end with questions from the net where fans can send in questions and the comedians will answer them.

We are also reaching out to seasoned veterans of the comedy industry to provide tips to the less experienced comedians about life, comedy and writing among other topics. Interviews will be fun and engaging for both comedians and fans alike.

Comedians wanting to be featured on the site should email comedians@wtfcomedy.ca now in order to be on the site prior to the official launch. We are also seeking more seasoned comics to interview via video or email for the site.
