Developing phone hardware is very complicated. You might plan over and over again, you will experiment and modify, you build, and eventually you will ship perfection. The toughest part is that it needs to be physically built, which is something of a large obstacle.

To be able to get this complete, it will require hardware designers, engineers, and a team with thorough knowledge of product manufacturing standards and practices. Unfortunately because we are at the concept stage we don't have any of this. Another obstacle is there are still minimum orders for production runs, logistics, and other problems that must be overcome before our product can be brought to market.

You can help us address many of these obstacles in the pre-order stage. We have made our goal as low as possible to cover these costs, and we have also made sure it will be available in a timely fashion. But's it's not just about being quick. Here at Massive Dynamic details are everything, so we are also looking into getting MFI certified. That means the SentinelAcustic will be of the same quality as it would be had Apple made it itself.
