The Komori G40, which prints up to 16,000 sheets per hour, will reduce makeready time by 45% and paper waste by 55%. On average this will save 750,000 sheets of paper or approximately 1,000 trees per year. In addition H-UV inks lower emissions, energy and ink consumption furthering Shawmut's commitment to environmentally- "The G40 is a game changer. Not only does it shorten production time but it opens up new creative possibilities for our clients using UV inks and coatings that create outstanding visual effects," adds Michael Peluso. "We are really excited to show our clients what this press can do and the opportunity to share some great educational content and tools they can use in their day-to-day." The Komori G40 is one of six new pieces of equipment Shawmut has added since the fall of 2015.
