Follow on Google News | Unicoi Apple Festival Attracts Santa ClausA very special vendor will be attending the Unicoi Apple Festival this weekend in Erwin, Tennessee. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be making a special first time appearance right in the middle of Main Street!
By: North Pole Press Two entertainment stages featuring live music complement the arts and crafts atmosphere. A large children's area complete with rides and activities is included in the festival for both the young and young-at heart. A wide array of tournaments are featured including the NFS 4-Mile Race, Erwin Record Photography Contest, Corn Hole Tournament and Apple Dumpling Contest. This year on October 7th and 8th, Santa and Mrs. Claus will join the festivities as one of those 350 vendors. They will be right in the middle of Main Street at Booth #250! Santa Claus is always excited to mingle among fellow arts and crafts vendors. Santa & Mrs, Claus love to show their support and add to the overall festivities. In reality, this Santa is none other than Joe Moore, the author of the increasingly popular novels of the Santa Claus Trilogy and the Santa's Elf Series of children's books. Moore has written and published the trilogy about the North Pole, and has three of the 25 planned Santa's Elf Series published, with the fourth to be released this month. Mary, his wife, is the illustrator of the beloved children's series. The couple spends the last two months of the year portraying Santa and Mrs. Claus all over East Tennessee. Moore is an expert in all things Santa and does interviews as Santa discussing events in the North Pole, reindeer and elves, and hot Christmas toys for kids, etc. The Moores will sell and autograph their independently produced books which consist of four novels, three children's books, a short story about Santa's reindeer, and a DVD they just released of Santa and Mrs. Claus reading the books to the children.
