Motherless Daughters Foundation, Inc. Announces 4th Annual Gala and Fundraiser

ATLANTA - Oct. 4, 2016 - PRLog -- The Motherless Daughters Foundation Inc. is pleased to announce that they will host its 4^th Annual Gala and Fundraiser at the Georgia International Convention Center beginning at 5:00 p.m.  This prestigious event will take place on Saturday, October 15th, 2016 hosted by Shaunya Chavis-Rucker who is an Emmy Award-winning television journalist and media professional. Each year the organization honors community leaders, corporate sponsors, mentors and friends who have thoroughly supported the organization.  The annual gala and fundraiser is designed to uplift young ladies within our community and work to provide them with unending opportunities for cultural and educational growth and exposure.

This year's keynote speaker for the Motherless Daughters Foundation 4^th Annual Gala is Jennifer Keitt, known as "The Chief Empowerment Officer". Recognized as one of the most powerful personalities in radio, Jennifer Keitt has a passion for empowerment. Motherless Daughters Foundation Honorary Chair of Hostess Committee is Ms. Xernona Clayton, C.E.O. Trumpet Foundation Inc. The Honorary Co-Chair of Hostess Committee is First Lady Sarah Elizabeth Reed, Atlanta's First Lady. "Motherless Daughters is dedicated to the self-empowerment of our young ladies," says Rassalyn Willis, Founder of Motherless Daughters Foundation.

The Motherless Daughters Foundation aims to make a difference in as many people's lives as possible. Hence why the organization has hand selected a host of honorees for this year's gala. Honorees include:

About Motherless Daughters Foundation:

The Motherless Daughters Foundation provides a mentoring program for girls ages 9 to 15 living without support of their natural mothers as a result of unforeseen circumstances. Through Motherless Daughters, girls are paired with relatable mentors, and also have an opportunity to participate in summer camps plus Motherless Daughters Gala and Silent Auction year-round educational and enrichment experiences. Girls receive scholarships and donations of clothing, school supplies and more.
