Cincy Chic Hosts "Holiday Glam" Fashion Show, Shopping Event for Charity Dec. 2

CINCINNATI - Oct. 3, 2016 - PRLog -- The holidays are busy. That's why one upcoming event is giving local ladies an opportunity to shop, mingle, enjoy an evening of entertainment and fashion, while also giving back, all in one night.

Cincy Chic, the only online publication for women in Greater Cincinnati, is hosting its sixth-annual "Holiday Glam Fashion Show" Friday, December 2 from 6-9pm at the Performance Lexus RiverCenter in Covington. Attendees will enjoy a winter trends fashion show by Donna Salyers' Fabulous-Furs, refreshments and light bites, swag bag, photo booth, fun fundraising activities, and an exclusive shopping experience featuring a variety of local businesses and pop-up shops! All proceeds benefit JAR of Hope.

JAR of Hope is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to bringing awareness and raising funds directed to ongoing research in the hope of eliminating Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD). DMD affects about 300,000 boys worldwide, with approximately 20,000 cases in the United States.

Featured in the winter trends fashion show will be the internationally-known, Covington-based Donna Salyers' Fabulous-Furs. "Sixty percent of what Fabulous-Furs sews is in Covington, KY, right where the Holiday Glam Fashion Show is taking place!" says Donna Salyers. "Our 2016 collection is our best-ever, hands down!" she adds. "Color is creating the most excitement - whether it's a fur-trimmed sweater, fur wrap or full-length coat. I am so proud of our design team and how we manage to turn classic pieces into something new and modern."
