Follow on Google News | Learn How to Edit Your Manuscript at This Writers Resource Center WorkshopThe importance of self-editing will be the focus of this seminar.
By: Writers Resource Center "We're concentrating on the importance of self-editing at this session because it's important that a manuscript be readable and well organized before you pass it on to a professional copy editor or a potential publisher," says Bess. The seminar is part of WRC's Developing Authors Series and will include lecture, discussion, writing exercises and homework. Participants should bring their own writing supplies and/or electronic devices. The series is a months-long training program covering all aspects of writing from concept to finding an agent or publisher, and how to promote and sell your book. WRC classes are very popular. Everyone is advised to arrive a little before or at 10am to get the best seating. For more information on this workshop and other activities of WRC, please visit the center's website at www.wrcnoca.com. About the Writers Resource Center The Writers Resource Center is a nonprofit organization that was founded in 2003 by Janie P. Bess, an author, recipient of a California state honors award from Assembly Member Susan Bonilla, and member of the National Association of Professional Women. The group offers resources for both the aspiring and accomplished writer, including workshops, presentations at local, regional and national conferences, and information on how to find an agent or publisher. It is an affiliate of the Independent Book Publishing Association (IBPA), a national organization that provides an array of services for indie authors and publishers. # End
