The North American T-6 "Texan" is a two-seat aircraft used as the advanced trainer for World War II pilots. Designed by North American Aviation, Inc., and first flown in 1938, the "Texan" quickly became the most popular trainer aircraft for the U.S. Military in the 1940s and 1950s. Over 15,000 "Texans" were built between 1938 and 1947, and approximately 400 are still flying today.

The North American B-25 Mitchell is an American twin-engine, medium bomber manufactured by North American Aviation. Used by many Allied air forces, the B-25 served in every theater of World War II and remained in service after the war, operating across four decades. Produced in numerous variants, nearly 10,000 Mitchells rolled from NAA factories. Now there are approximately 40 that remain airworthy in the U.S. The B-25 was made immortal on April 18, 1942, when 16 B-25's launched from the USS HORNET aircraft carrier and became the first United States aircraft to bomb the Japanese mainland following the attacks on Pearl Harbor.  This historic raid was commanded by Lieutenant Colonel James Doolittle, USAAF.

The North American Aviation T-28 Trojan is a piston-engined military trainer aircraft used by the United States Air Force and United States Navy beginning in the 1950s. Besides its use as a trainer, the T-28 was successfully employed as a counterinsurgency aircraft, primarily during the Vietnam War.

The Douglas DC-3 is a fixed-wing propeller-driven airliner. Its cruise speed (207mph)  and range (1,500 mi) revolutionized air transport in the 1930s and 1940s. Its lasting effect on the airline industry and World War II makes it one of the most significant transport aircraft ever made.
