Colors Channel Tweets An Apology to Tannishtha Chatterjee

MUMBAI, India - Sept. 29, 2016 - PRLog -- Tannishtha Chatterjee has been in news in the recent past not for her film 'Parched' but for some other reason. Recently the cast of 'Parched' was invited on the Colors TV show 'Comedy Nights Bachao' hosted by Krushna Abhishek and his team.

While the actress enjoyed the first two sessions of the show, she decided to walk out when jokes were cracked on her complexion. Comments like "kaali kalooti" and asking her "aap ko jamun bahut pasand hoga zaroor, kitna jamun khaya aapne bachpan se?" were passed on the actress which pissed her off and she decided to walk away.

Well the channel has now apologised for their mistake openly through their twitter handle. They also assured that they will take care of their content and it will not be offensive in any manner. The tweet reads, "Dear @TannishthaC

It is rather unfortunate that what you had expected to be a fun and novel experience turned out to be traumatic for you."

Later Tannishtha thanked the channel by tweeting, "Thanks for this post. But this is not abt me. It's abt a prejudice . I wish they made fun of me."
