DRONES PLUS to host DRONE VOLT for the JANUS 360® VR Drone U.S. Tour

LAS VEGAS - Sept. 27, 2016 - PRLog -- JANUS 360® Drone, designed for VR content creation, will be used in Cinema, Videos, Architecture, Real Estate and Gaming. The beginning of the year was marked by the creation of the DRONE VOLT production line based in Roissy, in the Paris region (France). The assembly site establishes the company as an end-to-end manufacturer of professional civil drones and will enable it to produce small runs of high added-value products in France. This includes manufacture of the all new JANUS 360® dedicated to the production of virtual reality video.

The JANUS 360® drone is the first and only production drone currently capable of taking 360° shots, using 10 cameras to capture uninterrupted images. It should be remembered that the JANUS 360® was already nominated for the "Best in Show Award" for the 10 best products at the CE Week in New York.

Starting at around $15,000, without cameras, the JANUS 360® will be part of a diverse line of DRONE VOLT Service Drones that include products the for Surveillance & Security, Agriculture, Cinematography, Construction and Energy industries. The first orders in the United States were received at the end of August and are destined for Hollywood studio film production. Manufacturing is already under way for new orders in the United States and Canada, as well as Asia (China/Taiwan) and APAC countries.

The first JANUS 360® was built and shipped to Hawaii Camera for use in their Cinema/Video and Virtual reality production facility. Hawaii Camera is an established leader and trend setter in Virtual Reality production.

These two cinema-gear retailers are known for their expertise in their field and are both focusing on and leading the advancement of Virtual Reality gear and VR editing."

Daniel went on to say that "The JANUS 360® Drone will also be stopping at the U.S.'s leading Drone retailer, Drones Plus, at their HQ store in Las Vegas Nevada. Drones Plus is expanding its focus to include Service Drones and the JANUS 360® VR will augment their selection of Cinema Drones".
