Follow on Google News | Come Meet the Rescued Horses at the 2nd Annual Country FestivalBy: Equine Rescue and Adoption Foundation ERAF is located on nine acres and has a population of 24 horses. The Country Festival is a wonderful way to tour the property and barn area, enjoy fun activities and learn about the programs, volunteer, sponsorship and membership opportunities. Have you ever kissed a horse? This will be your chance at the mini-horse kissing booth! There will also be temporary tattoos, a pumpkin patch, horse riding demonstrations, pony rides, artists' displays, equine and jewelry vendors, raffles, photo opportunities, children's crafts and cookie decorating. And when you've worked up an appetite, the Martin County Sheriff's Office Grill Team will be serving up hamburgers and hot dogs cooked right before your eyes. Save some room for the fresh squeezed lemonade, soft pretzels, baked goods and Italian ice for sale. Beer and wine will also be available. You'll enjoy kicking up your heels to the sounds of RPM, a local band who will donate their services to make the day even better. The Equine Rescue and Adoption Foundation, Inc. (ERAF) is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization, founded in 2000, devoted to the rescue, rehabilitation, re-education and adoption of abused, slaughter-bound, abandoned and neglected horses.
