Bloomington Transit Selects HB Software Solutions

For Their New Paratransit Scheduling/Vehicle Tracking System

LOWELL, Mass. - Sept. 26, 2016 - PRLog -- HB Software Solutions (HBSS) is pleased to welcome Bloomington Public Transportation Corporation (BPTC) to its rapidly expanding user family.  Following an extensive search of current market technologies, BPTC selected HBSS' cloud-based Integrated Transit Management System (ITMS 7.0) as its platform of choice to manage its paratransit/demand-response operations. BPTC will leverage the ITMS Call Center, Advanced Dispatch and Scheduling, Advanced Vehicle Locator, and Reporting modules to help streamline its operations and increase customer satisfaction. BPTC also has the option of using an automatic callout feature and a consumer portal (QRyde), which gives their customers access to trip booking features.

"We were seeking a product with state-of-the-art, cloud-based technologies, and the industry's best user interface," said BPTC Customer Service Manager, Eli McCormick.  "The more we saw of the HBSS product, the more we knew it was a winning combination."

ITMS 7.0 is built around the latest "pure" HTML web tools and provides the industry's most advanced, feature-rich, cloud-based experience.  The product's next generation user interface offers intuitive, friendly, clutter-free screens enabling operations to get up to speed quickly with minimal user training.

"We are thrilled to be selected for this important project for Bloomington Transit," said HBSS Founder and CEO Himanshu Bhatnagar.  "We look forward to welcoming BPTC to the HBSS family."
