Canasticus – Launch of The Fantasy Card Game Where You Are Drawn As One Of The Characters

BRIGHTON, U.K. - Sept. 26, 2016 - PRLog -- Canasticus Games is launching its new Personalised, Tactical, Fantasy, Card Game, CANASTICUS, on Kickstarter on Tuesday, 27^th September, and one of the characters in the game could be drawn as you.

Canasticus, is played with a deck of 108 cards of Wizards, Sorceresses, Demons, Knights, Assassins, Giants & so on. But the cool part is, you can send in a photograph and one of the characters will be based on you.  The game is great fun, tactical and totally addictive.

Designer Tim Williams said "We want people to put down their phones & devices for an hour or so and socially interact, by playing a really cool game together."

"The Fantasy Genre, such as Game of Thrones & Lord of the Rings is massive now, it's no longer the provision of us nerds, it's gone mainstream," he continues.

The market for board, card and role playing games is booming. According to Consulting firm, ICv2, it is worth $880m a year in America and Canada alone. "We've seen double-digit annual growth for the past half-decade," says Milton Griepp, ICv2's boss.

Tim Darlaston-Williams, said "Tabletop gaming is massive at the moment, some say this is a golden age for tabletop.  It's almost a backlash to video gaming. People want to interact together and be a part of the game face to face. And what better way to play a card game, such as Canasticus, where you and your friends are the characters."

Canasticus is launching on Kickstarter and is hoping to raise £20,000 and for just £75, your face could be on one of our cards, multiple decks can be ordered for you and your friends and each will feature all of your characters.  You could even have your whole company, club or team drawn into the deck. A basic deck of cards can also be ordered for just £19.
