Icons Judy Tenuta and Kate Linder in Monster House by Hit Songstress Fawn

LOS ANGELES - Sept. 26, 2016 - PRLog -- On Monday, September 26, 2016, Stonedef Records, Inc., announced that hit recording artist and singer-songwriter Fawn (also known as "Songirl') released her first Halloween EP, 'Monster House.'

In 2010 Fawn hit the top of the Billboard Dance charts alongside Lady Gaga and Maria Carey, with Fawn's song 'Wish U Love,' Produced by Chad Jack and Tim Letteer. Since the massive success of 'Wish U Love,' Fawn has won the 2013 EOTM award for "Best Female Recording Artist" and had two 2016 top 20 hit songs she wrote and performed, "Where Has Your Love Gone" and "Solitude," both produced by Digital Sixable. She has also been featured on multiple Film and TV shows such as The Natalee Holloway Story, Nickelodeon's Hollywood Heights and the CBS soap opera, The Young and The Restless, to name a few, and is currently found on around 45 compilation albums.

Fawn said, The working relationship I have with the 3 music producers on this project is effortless. They are all wonderful. stellar talents and are all artists in their own right." Fawn continued, "3 of the tracks on this EP are produced by Malcolm Smith who worked on music for the new Disney movie, Moana. He is so talented and absolutely brilliant. I've worked with him for the past 10 years doing commercials and a variety of songs for TV." Fawn continued, "I have such a great time working with him, he always knows exactly what to add to a track to make the message come across more powerful and his instincts are always spot on." Fawn said, "You will also hear a track produced by another incredible talent and favorite or mine, Chad Jack." Fawn continued, "Chad and I have been working together now for 7 years and he is meticulous at what he does. It's always a joy doing projects with him." Fawn said, "Another accomplished music producer I've been working with for around 8 years is Nick Wax, who produced the track "Spooky," which I co wrote with singer/songwriter Vincent Covello."

When asked why a Halloween album, Fawn stated, "I wrote and recorded a Christmas and Chanukah album in 2014, and since Halloween is another one of my favorite holiday's, I decided to do an album of Halloween songs!" Fawn continued, "These songs are in the vein of the classics such as "Monster Mash", "Purple People Eater" and "Thriller." Fawn concluded, "There just need to be more spooky, fun songs out there for Halloween, so I decided to write some!" Iconic actress Kate Linder said, "Monster House sounds like Disney Halloween songs - so well done and memorable." When asked what made her get involved with Monster House, Linder explained, "Let me tell you something, when Fawn asks you to do something, the only answer you want to give is Yes." When ground breaking comedian Judy Tenuta was asked what brought her to Monster House, she said in her beloved comedic style, "Fawn told me to do it!"
