Dynatrace Cited as an Application Performance Management Leader by Independent Research Firm

BOSTON - Sept. 23, 2016 - PRLog -- Digital Performance Management software company Dynatrace has been named an application performance management (APM) leader in The Forrester Wave™: Application Performance Management, Q3 2016 Report.


For this report Forrester examined past research and user need assessments, and also conducted vendor and expert interviews. Vendors were later evaluated against 28 criteria grouped in high-level buckets: current offering, strategy and market presence. In the strategy category, Dynatrace received the highest score of 5.00, which was 0.4 higher than the next highest scoring vendor.

According to Forrester, the catalyst for APM market growth comes from the solutions that are doing what infrastructure and operations professionals need them to do: tame IT complexity, reduce manual effort, and frame APM in the context of customer satisfaction and business results. As reactive application management gives way to proactive application management, the vendors that lead will excel in customer experience monitoring and mobile app performance, feeding into advanced analytics.
