Follow on Google News | Jacksonville Unites Again to Celebrate Local Survivors and Rally Support To End CancerMaking Strides Against Breast Cancer is teaming up with the community to free the world of cancer.
By: American Cancer Society Leading the charge again this year as host will be Dawn Lopez of Action News. Joining her will be the dynamic participants of the "Real Men Wear Pink" campaign. This group of distinguished gentlemen include Brian Bush of Tom Bush, Ken Babby, owner of the Jacksonville Sun's and 27 other men from the Jacksonville area. All joining the fight, raising funds and supporting our survivors. Registration for the walk will begin at 7:30 a.m. with entertainment starting shortliy after. The walk will begin at 9 a.m. Families are welcome to join in on the fun. There will be a kid's zone filled with fun activities to get your little ones involved in the action. DJ Marques will provide the soundtrack alongside a few musical entertainment acts guarnteed to get you pumped. As always, survivors will be the number one priority and will have access to a new survivor's lounge area close to all the festivities. Jacksonville corporations, community organizations, churches and residents will be making strides together to promote breast cancer awareness and to honor breast cancer survivors and caregivers.
