Samaritan Ministries Receives $75,000 Anonymous Donation Toward Building Fund

BUNNELL, Fla. - Sept. 22, 2016 - PRLog -- Lorraine Vickery, Founder and Executive Director of Samaritan Ministries is pleased to announce that they have received a $75,000 donation from a local resident that would like to remain anonymous. The funds will be used toward the purchase of a house for their clients.

"Since last year, our building fund campaign has brought the fund to $82,000, with most of the funds coming from individuals with a heart for our mission," said Lorraine. "This recent donation is truly a huge stepping stone for our ministry's goal of purchasing a home, we are unbelievably blessed," she added.

The 501c3 continues to seek funds to purchase a home for women and children in transition. They plan to move closer to that goal by holding a "Raising The Roof-The Time is NOW" Banquet and Silent auction to assist them on Saturday, October 15th at Pine Lakes Country Club in Palm Coast, located at 400 Pine Lakes Pkwy North. The event will be from 6:00pm until 8:30pm.

The event will include testimonies from previous residents of the organization's first Samaritan Inn.
