Fidelius Insurance Services Ltd changes name to Isca Barum Insurance Brokers Ltd

Isca Barum Insurance Brokers Ltd from Monday October 3^rd.

Fidelius Insurance Services have offices in Exeter and Barnstaple, providing commercial and personal insurance solutions.

They were previously a division of the Fidelius Group, but in August 2015 the decision was made to sever the shareholding connection and become a separate company.

Bruce Archibold, Managing Director of Isca Barum Insurance Brokers Ltd (formerly Fidelius Insurance Services Ltd), says, 'We felt we required a greater focus on purely insurance activities and to reinforce our independence in the market, an important benefit to our clients. The name change to Isca Barum Insurance Brokers helps us to achieve this '.

The company stresses that the new name of Isca Barum Insurance Brokers Ltd is the only change being made.  The board of directors – Managing Director Bruce Archibold, Commercial Director Simon Gray, Key Client Director Sarah Page, and Finance Director Andy Puleston – all with many years' experience within the business, will remain the same, as will the staff who have unrivalled levels of expertise in the market.  Indeed, even the office addresses and phone numbers in Exeter and Barnstaple are unchanged.

The name "Isca Barum" comes from the historical names of both Exeter (Isca) and Barnstaple (Barum), and reflects the company's deep ties to the business communities of both cities and to the Southwest in general. The Directors of Isca Barum Insurance Brokers Ltd have all lived and worked in the region for decades, and felt strongly that they wanted a name that would honour that history while still being contemporary and vibrant.  Their new logo does the same, demonstrating the company's forward-looking and positive direction, while retaining the colour orange to acknowledge their past links to Fidelius.
