Come Beat the Heat at The Red Heat Tavern

BOSTON - Sept. 22, 2016 - PRLog -- (Boston, MA)– This fall, 2016, Red Heat Tavern, with locations in Bedford and Wilmington, is turning up the heat and raising the stakes with the ultimate spice-lover's test:

The Red Heat Reaper Challenge. Every Wednesday from 3:00PM – 11:00PM, culinary daredevils are challenged to finish ten of Red Heat's signature scorching wings in ten minutes or less,

for the chance to claim Red Heat Reaper victory.  Red Heat's signature "Reaper" wings are made with Carolina Reaper sauce, a hybrid of ghost chili pepper that is combined with other peppers to

become the spiciest pepper in the world. The challenge of ten wings in ten minutes or less is $17.95 to enter, and free if completed in time.  Guests who beat the heat will also receive a signature Red Heat t-shirt.

Participants must be 18+ to enter.

From 3:00PM – 11:00PM, enjoy any wings, any style for $0.75 per wing at both locations.

Additionally, guests can take it from wild-to-mild altogether and ease into the work week with Mac Your Mondays,

a nightly special that lets guests create their own mac 'n cheese all day Mondays, from 11:30AM – 11:00PM, and offers $2 off to any participant that posts a picture of the dish with the hashtag #RHTMAC.

Red Heat Tavern is open seven days a week, Monday – Thursday, 11:30AM – 11:00PM, Friday – Saturday, 11:30AM – 12:00AM and Sunday, 12:00PM – 10:00PM.
