Howard Community College Selling Turkish Rug Online

COLUMBIA, Md. - Sept. 22, 2016 - PRLog -- Howard Community College in Columbia, MD is currently selling a Turkish oriental rug at auction on the online government surplus auction website GovDeals.com.

The auction began on September 9th, and will run until September 30, 2016.  The college has scheduled inspection dates on September 27^th and 28^th for interested bidders requesting an inspection.

Howard Community College has been selling surplus assets on GovDeals.com since 2011, and has been successful at returning much needed funds to the college. Past auction sales consist mostly of audio/visual equipment, computers, and computer accessories, but have included furniture, musical equipment, vehicles, and even a generator.

The rug presently at auction was originally purchased in Turkey in 2006. The rug seems to be "in fantastic condition due to its having been kept primarily in storage for the past five years," comments Domonic Cusimano, Procurement Coordinator for the college. A good professional cleaning should be all that is needed to bring back the original beauty of this rug!
