Why this Competition is a combination of "The Voice" and "The Hunger Games" in Carnegie Hall

NEW YORK - Oct. 13, 2016 - PRLog -- Passionate vocalists (bass, alto, tenor, soprano), ages 18 to 29, from all nationalities are expected to participate in this highly awaited music competition. Entries should be submitted not later than November 1, 2016.

Renowned composer, recording artist, pianist, and Steinway Artist Julian Gargiulo started this competition nearly three years ago. He decided to invite musicians worldwide for a friendly competition and have them submit a video of their individual performance. Four will be chosen and will have the once in a lifetime opportunity to perform with him at the Carnegie Hall. The winner will  then be voted live by audience.

LDJ Capital Chairman David Drake will be the executive producer for this event. He says, "Julian is a very talented and fearless musician who plays music with no boundaries and restrictions. I highly encourage vocalists, who are passionate with their music, to join and be part of this exhilarating event."

For this year's competition, it will be for voice. There will be two rounds. First, participants will record a three to five minute video of their performance. It could  either be: voice and piano, or any instrument; solo voice; or  orchestra and voice.

They should upload it on youtube or any equivalent social media site and submit the link on or before November 1, 2016.

There will be four finalists, just like the previous competitions.  Each finalist will premiere two songs composed by Julian. The winner will again be chosen by the audience.

The winner of this competition gets to travel with Steinway Artist Julian to the 12th Water Island Music Festival and be the featured vocalist.
