Mark Foster Joins Orange County Office of Snell & Wilmer

COSTA MESA, Calif. - Sept. 21, 2016 - PRLog -- Snell & Wilmer is pleased to announce the expansion of its Orange County office with the addition of Mark Foster as counsel in the firm's real estate group. Foster joins Snell & Wilmer from Sabal Financial Group, L.P., where he served as General Counsel since 2012.

Foster has more than 18 years of legal experience in real estate and commercial finance, including over 13 years as an in-house attorney representing national and international real estate and finance companies. Most recently, Foster served as Vice President and General Counsel of Sabal Financial Group, a diversified real estate asset management and financial services platform. Prior to Sabal, Foster served as Senior Counsel for Rockefeller Group Development Corporation, where he focused on all aspects of commercial real estate acquisition, development and operations. He also previously served as Regional General Counsel for Toll Brothers, Inc., where he oversaw the acquisition and development of dozens of residential projects throughout California. Foster began his legal career in the real estate group of the law firm of Allen Matkins.

At Snell & Wilmer, Foster will focus on a sophisticated transactional practice, covering complex property acquisition, disposition, development, workouts and leasing, as well as a vibrant commercial finance practice representing lenders and investors with debt and equity investments, including the origination, structuring and disposition of mortgage loans and mortgage loan portfolios. Foster brings with him a unique perspective to the delivery of legal services to institutional clients, having managed a team of in-house attorneys and over 350 outside law firms while at the helm of Sabal's legal team. His extensive legal experience with a vast array of real estate and finance issues will strengthen Snell & Wilmer's already robust real estate practice group.

Foster earned his B.A. from University of Southern California and his J.D. from University of Southern California, Gould School of Law. He is admitted to the State Bar of California and is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, the Orange County Bar Association and the Association of Corporate Counsel. Foster is also a licensed real estate broker in California and a LEED© Accredited Professional (AP).

Foster has been a member of the Facilities Committee of The Pegasus School since 2011, the Board of Directors of Obria Health Clinics since 2004 and the Board of Directors of Andrei Olenicoff Memorial Foundation since 2005.
