-- The Garrett Trails Board of Directors has appointed Ashlee Boyd as its new Executive Director.
Ashlee grew up in Cheat Lake, West Virginia where at a very young age began her love as well as respect for the great outdoors. She gained most of her passions from her grandfather and father, such as fishing, hunting, hiking, kayaking, and overall conservation through education. In 2007 she earned her Bachelor's Degree from West Virginia University. She has a strong background in Business Development, Marketing, and Events as well as serving her community through volunteering as well as fundraising. Ashlee stated, "I am truly thrilled to be a part of such an inspiring organization that is not only important to the economic development of the area, but the overall health of visitors as well as the community. I hope to become an integral part of Garrett County's tourism and development."
Garrett Trails is a nonprofit, volunteer organization dedicated to the development of a well-used network of high-quality, sustainable trails that provide access to Garrett County's historic, municipal, and environmental treasures which link to trails outside the county.
