CBR Announces Top Bull Rider in the World to compete in Conroe

CONROE, Texas - Sept. 20, 2016 - PRLog -- South Texas bull riding fans it is time to mark your calendar for October 1.  If you like high energy, live action, 8 seconds at a time then CBR has just the thing for you! Championship Bull Riding (CBR) celebrates the 2016 Made in America "Road to Cheyenne" tour with the nationally televised Conroe, Texas Bull Mania, the fourth stop of CBR's professional bull riding tour which will award approximately $170,000 while in Conroe.

CBR offers the diehard bull riding fans of Conroe, Texas several opportunities to meet four time World Champions and Pro Rodeo Hall of Famer Tuff Hedeman and the number one ranked bull rider in the world, four time World Champion Sage Steele Kimzey. Kimzey won over $1,000,000 riding bulls in 2015 and collected a second Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association gold buckle and a second CBR World Championship in July.

Both cowboys will be making public appearances while in Conroe and Kimzey will compete at the annual bull riding held at the Lonestar Expo Center.

"We are excited to bring this caliber of bull riding and cowboys to Conroe," said CBR CEO Benny Cude who resides in Conroe[LAS1] . "It is a combination of a rock and roll concert, an extreme sporting event, and a little bit of a heavy weight prize fight, all refereed by Tuff Hedeman," continued Cude. But Cude is more than just the chief executive officer, he is the owner of the 2014 Bucking Bull of the Year and the 2015 World Champion Bull Team.

But before the first rider pulls his rope, join the bull riders and K - STAR Country 99.7 on Saturday October 1 at 10 am for an autograph session, where Cody Rostockyj and rookie sensation Boudreaux Campbell will be giving tickets away and taking selfies with fans at Cavender's Boot City , 2557 Interstate 45 N in Conroe. If you can't make it to Cavender's you can get your tickets and autographs from the legendary Tuff Hedeman from 1 pm to 3 pm at DeMontrond Automotive Group in Conroe where he and K-Star 99.7 will be meeting and greeting fans.

In addition to meeting the riders the organizers of Bull Mania are bringing in the CBR's Anti-bullying campaign which features a live pet bull. Former Bullfighter Gary "Roach" Hedeman, and the pet bucking bull Bill, will be at Heritage Park on Friday, September 30, spreading the message to elementary school children that "bullying" is not acceptable behavior.

"Bill is No Bully is a great tool to communicate with kids while at the same time increasing awareness about bullying in schools," said Hedeman.

The Conroe, Texas Bull Mania features not only the top 24 ranked bull riders on Saturday night, but approximately 60 two year old bucking bulls that will be competing at the Lonestar on Saturday morning in the CBR's Championship Futurity Tour Finale worth $50,000 to the winning bull team. The CBR Bucking Bull Futurity event is open and free to the public and begins at 9 am.

The rider portion of the Conroe Bull Mania will kick off at 8:00 pm and features the elite bull riders and bulls in a tournament style format that appeals to fans because riders can challenge as many as three bulls in one performance.  24 cowboy athletes, including Crockett, Texas high school rookie sensation Boudreaux Campbell and Houston natives Demond Haynes and Neil Holmes will be testing their skills against some of the best bovine talent in the industry.
