Chef Andres Prussing wins two medals at 2016 North Carolina Restaurant & Lodging Expo

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Sept. 19, 2016 - PRLog -- Coastal Kitchen and Hilton Charlotte Center City are proud to announce two recent medals won by Executive Chef Andres Prussing at the 2016 North Carolina Restaurant & Lodging Expo held in Raleigh August 29-30, 2016.

Chef Andres competed in two events-the KC Contemporary Hot Food competition and the Hot Food Mystery Basket competition. He was awarded a silver medal in the KC Contemporary Hot Food competition and a gold medal in the Hot Food Mystery Basket competition.

Director of Food & Beverage, Clark Wade shared his pride in Chef Andres. "We are very proud of Andres and his accomplishments. It is great to have an Executive Chef who is focused on improving his craft and is willing to compete in these events. We fully support his participation with the American Culinary Federation North Carolina Chapter and are excited about what his next accomplishment will be." Chef Andres takes what he learns at different ACF events & competitions and incorporates it into the daily workings at the hotel.
