By: Solutions for Urban AG Working to transform and improve communities and landscapes through a variety of exciting and creative projects, SFUA is dedicated to serving communities through innovative solutions and educational programming for the management of resources and creative adaptation to issues of sustainability within our food system. Led by their Chairman, A.G. Kawamura, a third generation California farmer, SFUA has worked with cities, municipalities and developers across the nation. This includes The Incredible Edible Farm, a five-acre agricultural and educational showcase at The Great Park in Irvine. The Harvest Moon Celebration will feature locally grown and sourced food shared with featured local chefs to provide a dinner under the stars worthy of the Harvest Moon. There will be live music and featured speakers A.G. Kawamura, founder and Chairman of SFUA, former secretary of California State Board of Food and Agriculture (CDFA), Tim Alderson, Executive Director of Seeds of Hope, Erik Cutter, founder of Alegria Fresh and Glenn Tanaka, Owner of Tanaka Farms. Event highlights include a significant, in person, donation to SFUA from Bank of America.
