Follow on Google News | Girl Scouts Heart of New Jersey to Open First NJ Museum Dedicated Exclusively to Girl Scou"We are so excited to be able to share our Girl Scout history with our members, volunteers, alumna, and members of the public," says Patricia Carroll, Chief Executive Officer of Girl Scouts Heart of New Jersey. "Through our museum, visitors will be able to travel back in time and witness Girl Scouting in a whole new way." In attendance will be Girl Scout alumnae, Virginia Wolf, who earned her Golden Eaglet (comparable to the Girl Scout Gold Award today) in Rahway in 1936. "I have nothing but good feelings and good memories of my Girl Scout days," says Wolf. "I am delighted to be able to join everyone for the grand opening of the museum." The opening ceremony will begin at 11:00 a.m. and timed entrances into the museum will occur every 15 minutes starting at 11:30 a.m. Tea and sandwiches will be served. This event is free of charge and located at 201 Grove Street East, Westfield, NJ 07090.
