CLEARWATER, Fla. - Sept. 14, 2016 - PRLog -- The Church of Scientology Flag Service Organization announced that the Historic Fort Harrison's facilities are available for charities and non-profit organizations to hold their own events and fundraisers free of charge. The Fort Harrison is the International Religious Retreat for the Church of Scientology.

"We care a lot about what is going on in the community. Charities and non-profits are there on the front lines helping others with their many tribulations in life," said Dylan Pires, the Community Affairs Director for the Church of Scientology in Clearwater. "We want to help them advance their organization."

The Fort Harrison has several venues that are available for use.

The Crystal Ballroom is on the 10th floor, replete with its Bohemian Crystal chandelier, sound system and outdoors terrace, it is ideal for banquets, brunches, musical performances and luncheons.

The Auditorium houses larger events, seating 300 guests comfortably. Set up with a state of the art lighting system and sound system, it provides a professional event experience.

"We know that holding events can be rewarding but also very stressful," continued Mr. Pires. "That's why we provide our facilities for non-profits to use for their events."

Such events at the Fort Harrison include piano concerts, the Gentlemen's Ball Against Human Trafficking, the Clearwater Community Garden Brunch and "Paws for a Cause," a dog fashion show benefitting the Humane Society of Tampa Bay.
