"Congressional Debate on Foreign Policy"

The World Affairs Forum will host candidates for the U.S. House of Representatives 4th Congressional District, Jim Himes (D) and John Shaban (R), for a debate on foreign policy on Oct. 24 at UCONN/Stamford, GenRe Auditorium from 7-8:30pm.

STAMFORD, Conn. - Sept. 14, 2016 - PRLog -- "As serious conversations regarding foreign policy issues become increasingly important, the World Affairs Forum is uniquely qualified to bring you this debate. With increasing globalization and as current international events make clear, our representatives must publicly debate the role of the US in global affairs and voice their opinions on policy that impacts it. It is our intent that the Forum's debate will help voters in the 4th Congressional District to make an informed decision at the polls in November," said Kay Maxwell, Executive Director of the World Affairs Forum and moderator of the debate.

This is event is free and open to the public. No reservation is required. Debate will begin promptly at 7pm. Cosponsored by Moffly Media, Inc and Lukaj Foundation.
