Freemont Foundation's 5K Represent Yourself Walk/Run

ATLANTA - Sept. 14, 2016 - PRLog -- The James M. & Erma T. Freemont foundation has scheduled it's annual  Represent Yourself 5K Run/Walk for Atlanta's Grant Park on Saturday, September 24th, 2016.

Dr. Freemont served in senior level management positions at South Fulton Medical center and on the staff of the Morehouse School of Medicine.


The event will start at 2:00 PM with registration beginning at 1:00 PM.

Additionally, this year there will be a Kids walk and a planned fun event after the race.

The proceeds of the event will provide scholarships for deserving students planning careers in science and medicine.

Dr. Joi Freemont, Freemont Foundation Chairperson stated that this event is a critical component in raising funds and awareness of the foundation's primary mission to provide scholarships and college preparation training  for students planning careers in science and medicine..
