LAKEWOOD, N.J. - Sept. 14, 2016 - PRLog -- Northern Ocean Habitat for Humanity will have a worksite at the Ocean County Mall to begin construction on a Habitat home beginning September 30th through that weekend.    Building Homes From the Heart is a project sponsored by WJRZ and will be moved to a donated Toms River lot where construction will resume upon funding. As part of their community outreach initiatives, Shore Builders Association and its members have sponsored the event, and members of the sponsor companies, as well as the Professional Women in Building of the Garden State (PWB) council will participate in the build on September 30th. Gina McNamara, Executive Officer at Shore Builders, shares her excitement for this project, "Our members have been very interested in working with Northern Ocean County Habitat for Humanity for a long time, and this sponsorship opportunity was a perfect fit." McNamara continues, "We have several builders who are participating in the sponsorship and members of our PWB council will be helping with the build on September 30th. This is a perfect community outreach partnership for our association and we look forward to participating in future events."

Shore Builders Association would like to thank the following builder members for their sponsorship of this Habitat for Humanity project: All County, Arya Properties, Blackman Plumbing, CMM Construction, Crown Homes, Ferguson Enterprises, The Kokes Organization, LMB Development, MAC Builders, Palatial Homes, Sharbell Development, Walters Group, as well as members of the PWB council who will be participating in the build this month.

In addition to Northern Ocean County Habitat for Humanity, Shore Builders has partnered with several community service organizations in Monmouth and Ocean Counties in an effort to give back to the communities their members serve. For example, the association will be collecting non-perishable food items at their September meeting for Foodstock, which is a grassroots community effort formed in 2010 to assist with the needs of less fortunate community members who are struggling to put food on their tables due to the current economic environment. Shore Builders members are asked to bring their donations to the meeting, which will be held on September 21st at the Jumping Brook Country Club in Neptune.  Anyone wishing to donate non-perishable food items to Foodstock can bring their donations to the Shore Builders office prior to September 21st, or contact Foodstock directly via their website at http://www.foodstocknj.org/home.
