York Solutions Introduces New Program: Barriers to Entry

MINNEAPOLIS (September 13, 2016)– York Solutions, a national information technology consulting firm that provides clients with custom resource solutions to successfully complete IT projects, announced today their new service, the Barriers to Entry (B2E) program, which will focus on providing training and a career path in IT consulting to men and women looking to re-enter the workforce after taking time off.

It is estimated that there are millions of educated men and women struggling to re-enter the workforce after taking a break to be with their families or to serve our country. York is working to remove the barriers of re-entry and provide a foundation for success through training, professional development resources, and a career in IT consulting for program participants. York's passion and dedication to giving back to the community is the driving force as they seek to empower women, veterans, and individuals from other under-represented demographics to be successful in returning and thriving in the workforce.

Participants in the program will begin their IT consulting career with York Solutions by engaging in their comprehensive training program led by an executive-level IT professional, focused on developing participants' project coordination and project management skills. Following this training, the B2E program will provide the on-ramp to a successful consulting career in IT for participants through entry-level contract positions with York throughout the Twin Cities.
