Florida Aquarium Makes Bold Switch to Digital Signage

MIAMI - Sept. 13, 2016 - PRLog -- The Florida Aquarium appoints Intermedia Touch to deploy sleek digital signage. Intermedia Touch started by installing two Daktronics LED displays at the entrance of the aquarium, as well as high nit monitors in the ticket booth with the 22 miles software platform.

Intermedia Touch has installed four 55-inch high nit monitors, powered by the 22 miles platform, in the ticket booth of the Florida Aquarium. These monitors provide a sleek look while efficiently displaying information for the ticket booth.

The 22 miles software platform allows the Florida Aquarium to create, upload, and manage content such as promotions and advertisements remotely. This will allow the Florida Aquarium to be able to update their digital signage effectively and with ease.

Intermedia Touch also installed two LED displays at the entrance of the aquarium. The 5x10 foot displays welcome guests and informs them of the aquarium's hours of operation.

The LED displays are Daktronics' Galaxy Outdoor GS6 series, and are easily one of the best outdoor display LEDs in the market today. The GS6 cuts through the visual spectrum with high impact clarity, powered by the tightest 16 mm display in the industry, sitting impressively at 15.85 mm.
