Rosy Palomino Wins Primary for State House, District 112
Nearly 1,500 more Republicans voted over Democrats on August 30th.

Rosy Palomino thanked her supporters in a message posted to her Facebook page: "Without you this win would not be possible. I want to especially thank Mike Davey, his family and his supporters for running a professional campaign. Our election has produced a greater turnout of Republican voters over Democrat voters - a great sign for winning District 112 in November."
Palomino was supported by city of Miami Mayor Tomas Regalado and won the August 30th Primary despite a 6 to 1 financial disadvantage.

About Rosy Palomino:
Palomino is a veteran educator and small business owner. She is the president of Tropical Nostalgia Inc. which offers Miami After Dark wines and gifts. She is a veteran educator of 2 decades at Citrus Grove Elementary School in Little Havana. She has received numerous accolades for her success in the classroom and in creating community partnerships. She participates in a number of neighborhood organizations, including as President of the Douglas Park Neighborhood Association which organizes community involvement in the remediation of Douglas Park.
About State House District 112:
District 112 has a mostly Hispanic demographic, representing the city of Miami, the city of Coral Gables and the village of Key Biscayne. The city of Miami represents over 75% of the District 112 electorate. Representative Jose Javier Rodriguez, the current two-term Democrat, is vacating the seat in order to run for the State Senate, District 37.
