Richard Benrubi, Esq. Appointed to Florida Supreme Court Jury Instruction Committee

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - Sept. 9, 2016 - PRLog -- Board Certified Civil Trial Lawyer Richard M. Benrubi, the founding partner of Law Office of Richard M. Benrubi, P.A. and of counsel to Rosenthal, Levy, Simon & Ryles—an experienced team fighting for the rights of the seriously injured, disabled, unlawfully compensated and discriminated for over 30 years—has been appointed to a jury instruction committee on the Supreme Court of Florida.

The Committee on Standard Jury Instructions—Contract and Business Cases is a critical element in the resolution of contract business-related jury trials in Florida that assists the judge in instructing the jury about the laws and processes to be applied in connection with the decisions to be made in in the case. The committee was established by the Court in September, 2006, and members are appointed for a 3-year term.

Mr. Benrubi's experience that caught the eye of the state's reining judiciary includes a long successful history of practice representing individuals and corporate policyholders in insurance coverage disputes. His practice spans all aspects of this area including coverage disputes, bad faith actions, declaratory relief lawsuits and claims for insurance benefits. Mr. Benrubi also specializes in cases involving significant personal injury.

Formerly a partner with Liggio, Benrubi P.A. and a one-time managing attorney of in-house counsel for a major insurance company, Mr. Benrubi joined Rosenthal, Levy, Simon & Ryles, of counsel, with numerous accolades. His milestones include a coveted AV rating by the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory; two Florida Trend Magazine "Legal Elite" citations; and a "Super Lawyer" recognition for 11 consecutive years—an honor bestowed to fewer than 2% of all attorneys in the state. He is also an experienced lecturer and holds both his undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Florida.
