The SVG (Sports Video Group) Blog recently reported that David Barton and John Schleef, on board for their sixth Olympic Games were NBC Sports' lead art directors. Their goal was to design and create a graphics package that would encapsulate the spirit not only of the games, but of the city of Rio de Janeiro as well. NBC's Olympic effort was huge, creating more than 6,700 hours of programming across multiple broadcast and cable networks as well as digital platforms.
