Walk Across New Jersey

Founding Trustees of Non-profit Commit to Walking Across NJ

[Little Falls, NJ (09/06/2016) --- The founding Trustees for the Anxiety & Depression Initiative (ADI) have committed to walking 77 miles across the state of NJ, from the George Washington Bridge to the Delaware Water Gap Bridge. This gesture is to reconfirm their commitment to the organization and the mission that it supports. The ADI promotes and supports the use of physical activity for those living with anxiety and depression, as a means to alleviate symptoms.

This is not the first time the Trustees used the George Washington Bridge as a starting point for a fundraising challenge. Last year they began a fundraising bike there and rode 82.2 miles north, along the Bike Route 9. In that campaign, over $3,000 was raised and helped to carry out the organization's mission over the last year. None of them had ever attempted such a long ride before.

If you would like to find out more about the organization and/or sponsor the efforts of the Trustees You can do so at:

On October 7th, 2016, the ADI will also be holding its first annual gala fundraising dinner at the Bethwood in Totowa. We have a great evening lined up including dinner, speakers, a silent auction with over $4,000 worth of items to bid on, music and dancing. We will be sharing our vision and our future plans, as the organization approaches the end of its second year.

To find out more about the gala and purchase tickets for only $75, you can do so online at:
